The January 2026 survey recorded 68 bird species here, from egrets and herons to sandpipers and terns stopping over on the East Asian–Australasian Flyway. The mudflats feed shorebirds at low tide, while mangroves and bamboo give land birds a place to perch.
It suits beginners and experienced birders, as well as students and researchers.
