The first Mengare Discovery took place on 27 September 2026, taking participants along the Mengare coast with local people.
On Saturday 27 September 2026, PRPM Mengare held its first Mengare Discovery. Participants travelled along the Mengare coast by boat with local people, saw the restored mangroves from the water, and watched shorebirds feeding on the mudflats.
Mengare Discovery can now be booked for groups. Timing depends on the tide; message the team on Instagram to arrange a date.
